Dear Kobe

I created this video as a tribute to one of my personal heroes, Kobe Bryant. His passing affected in a way I wasn’t expecting. It was emotional to put it simply. I struggled to find a way to voice how much Kobe meant to me. After watching his Oscar-winning short film, “Dear Basketball,” an idea began to come to the forefront of my mind. I realized Kobe’s script was from his perspective about his relationship basketball, which was a huge part of his life. I wanted to tell the relationship that I, and other fans of his, had with him, and how his relationship between basketball and his family affected so many people’s perspectives. “Dear Kobe” is that story.
