Hidden History of Philadelphia Project

Partnered with Caroline DeFelice

For the final project in advanced design, we took on covering hidden history in Philadelphia in an organized and modern format. We created a magazine spread that covers various category of hidden history in Philadelphia along with a fully designed app to help users locate history sites on-the-go. The magazine is filled with pages depicting different types of architectures forms to give background on the different styles of history the user may see. For the color scheme in both the magazine and app, we used a light blue color to emulate a sky that contrasts well with the red coloring of the letters, the same red used in the “LOVE” sign in Philadelphia. For the logo we wanted to showcase different aspect of hidden history architecture which is why it is divided into four parts with the same blue used from the main color scheme. The app uses a map template with various locations identified using small red pins. Upon clicking one of those pins the user will be taken to an info screen with a picture and a brief description of that location and the type of architecture style it is built in.

Below is all of the art work and design that were used to compose this project. Enjoy. Magazine spread found here because image was too big to post.–> appPHILLYArch (1)

Gun Violence Awareness Photo Series

For my final Constructed Image project, my class was tasked with creating a piece centered around a social justice issue or cause. I chose mass shootings in schools of the U.S. The series is entitled “How Long Will We Wait?” The number of candles changes based on the number of victims for each shooting. For those that may be confused about the Enoch Brown picture; Enoch Brown was a middle school located in Pennsylvania where the first ever school shooting occurred in 1764. Native Americans killed eight children and two teachers. Over 200 years have gone by and we are more or less seeing the same level of violence occur in schools across the country. That poses the question, how long will we wait? What we are waiting for depends on how you see the issue.

Italia Video

I traveled to Italy for the first time this past June. It was an experience that’s pretty hard to articulate through words or a video. However, I wanted to show everyone what I had seen to an extent (because no imagery will do the beauty of Italy justice). This video is exactly that; a showcase of my time in Italy. I hope y’all enjoy it.

CallRevu Experience

I interned at CallRevu LLC in Timmonium, Maryland as a Marketing Videographer during the summer and early fall of 2018. The content found here is a sample of some of my work I helped coordinate and create with the team.

The first video found here is a draft of the introduction to one of CallRevu’s in-house training modules

The following video is a promotional piece was created for 5 Star Subaru by our team at CallRevu. It was used to promote the dealership and its culture on a local and corporate level.

Eagles Promo Video

The Super Bowl was only a week away when one of my friends from college, Matt Conlin, invited me to be his production assistant for a video that would go on to be named “Brotherly Love.” I was mainly on the ground shooting with him, while he tackled the editing process. Together, we created something that I am truly proud of. Humbled to be a part of this project and look forward to working with him in the future.

Mock Commercials

The commercials found here were all created by me. Some aspects such as songs and other sound effects were used and our correctly attributed in each video’s description on Youtube. Subscribe to my youtube channel, RCGproduction, to see more of my work as I progress as a creator.
